How can I build my spreadsheet to optimize Tegus Formulas load times?
Data can take a little while to load for the first time if you are building a spreadsheet containing many Tegus Formulas. We recommend using Tegus Formulas for building custom single company templates or comps analysis. It is not recommended to use Tegus Formulas for bulk data pulls or screening. If you would like to perform either of these actions please reach out to [email protected] to discuss alternatives.
We recommend taking the following actions to optimize load times in your workbooks:
Keep your analysis to 50 companies or less. The number of companies included in your analysis can have an adverse effect on load times.
Keep your spreadsheet to 2,000 Tegus Formulas or less. Load times will lengthen as you add more formulas to your workbook. Workbooks containing 2,000 formulas will load within 1-2 mins.
If you plan to use the workbook again later, leave the workbook containing Tegus Formulas open. Data will refresh much faster if it has already been loaded since that workbook was opened.

See the following notes about data availability.
Data is updated and made available within 30 mins of the Tegus Model being updated on the client portal. All calculations and derivations of data like LTM will be updated at the exact same time as other company data.
Data is only available for companies covered with a Tegus Model. Delisted companies with model data are not available to be used through Tegus Formulas at this time.
Only the metrics available in the most recent version of the Tegus Model are accessible with Tegus Formulas.
Data on the model worksheet is available through Tegus Formulas. Anything found on the Guidance, Summary Page, or other supplemental worksheets are generally not available.
