Streamline expert discovery, call scheduling and call management in one platform

As a Client Contributor, you play a crucial role in helping us build timely, high-impact research. This portal is designed to simplify your experience by integrating expert discovery, call scheduling, and call management into a single, streamlined platform.


Logging In

  1. Navigate to AlphaSense.

  2. Enter your contributor credentials.

  3. Access your dashboard:

    1. You will automatically land on the Call Projects dashboard with the phone icon.

    2. If logging in from an AlphaSense email notification, you'll be redirected straight to your dashboard.


Setting Your Interests

  1. Your interests determine the expert recommendations you'll see.

  2. On your dashboard, click "Update My Interests".

    1. Add Companies and Industries:

    2. Use the search bar to find and select relevant companies.

  3. Toggle to industries and select those applicable to your expertise.

  4. Click "Apply" to save your choices.

You can update your interests anytime by revisiting this section.

Adding Your Availability

  1. Proactively add your availability to speed up scheduling:

  2. Click and drag on the calendar to mark available slots.

  3. Select your timezone to ensure accuracy.


Finding and Requesting Experts


Reviewing Experts

  1. Recommended Experts: Automatically appear based on your set interests.

  2. Browse All Experts: To view a broader list, use the "Browse All Experts" feature.

  3. Click on any expert's profile to view details, including:

    1. Bio and expertise summary

    2. Conflict companies

    3. Suggested discussion topics (where applicable)


Requesting Experts

  1. After reviewing, click "Request".

  2. Enter specific topics you'd like to discuss during your call.

  3. Confirm request. If accidentally requested, simply click "Cancel Request".

Requesting Additional Information:

  • Click "Request More Info" to send additional vetting questions to our analyst team, who will reply via email.

  • Be sure to ask vetting questions prior to scheduling a call with the expert.


Scheduling a Call

  1. Select an expert with available time slots:

    1. Click "Schedule" next to the expert's name.

    2. Choose an available time.

    3. If none of the listed times work, select "None of These Times Work" and propose alternative dates and times. Our Operations team will coordinate with the expert.

  2. If the expert hasn't provided availability yet:

    1. You'll receive a notification once the expert updates their availability.

  3. Confirm scheduling:

  4. Once scheduled, you'll receive an email confirmation and calendar invite with call details.

Rescheduling or Canceling a Call

  • To reschedule or cancel, email [email protected] with the expert’s name and the original date and time of your call.


Managing Your Calls

  • Upcoming Calls: Your dashboard clearly lists all scheduled calls.

  • Completed Calls: Easily access transcripts of previous calls in the "Completed Calls" section.


After the Call

  • Transcripts:

    • Available within 5-7 days post-call.

    • Access via the "Completed Calls" section on your dashboard.

  • Post-Call Survey:

    • A survey link is sent via email and included in your calendar invite.

    • Complete surveys within 24 hours to earn ECS credits.

  • Earning Credits:

    • For every four calls conducted and SURVEY COMPLETED, earn one ECS credit.


Support and Troubleshooting

Technical Issues or Urgent Help During Calls:

General Portal Issues:

  • Clear your browser cache or try accessing via Chrome Incognito.

  • Persistent issues should be reported with details to [email protected].

For further support, contact your Account Manager or the AlphaSense Help Team directly.
