AlphaSense’s Company Proximity Search feature enables searching across primary and secondary documents at the same time, uncovering more relevant search results than ever before.
To enable Company Proximity Search:
Select the grey search adjustment button in between the ticker search bar and blue search button
Deselect Primary Ticker Only in the proximity drop.
This selection now works globally across all documents.
How does it work?
Company Proximity Search requires that in Secondary documents the company name appears in proximity to the keyword being searched. This, as well as improved company name recognition, leads to a huge improvement in the breadth and quality of search results.
