How your Dashboard is organized:

When you first get started with AlphaSense, your Dashboard will be set up for you based on your selections during the set up/onboarding process.

There are 3 Dashboard templates for you to use that are fully customizable, or you can build your own Dashboard from a blank canvas.

Each template comes pre-set with feeds for research, company documents, and news. You can easily add your own saved searches for keywords or more advanced queries to any dashboard. Company and Watchlist Dashboards also will contain an Events Calendar of upcoming and past events.

You can reorder the Dashboards on the right-hand side...or reorder the searches within a Dashboard simply by dragging and dropping them


How to add a Dashboard:

  1. Click the plus sign at the top of the left-hand panel.

  2. Select a dashboard template:

    1. Add Watchlist Dashboards - when you need to monitor information about multiple companies.

    2. Add Company Dashboards - when you only want to see information for one company at-a-glance.

    3. Add Industry Dashboards - when you want to monitor all new information across a particular sector.

    4. Add Custom Dashboard - when you have a set of related keywords or market themes in mind that you'd like to track in one view.

  3. Based on the template you select, you will then be prompted to add in companies, industries or to add a search.


How to add a search to a Dashboard:

To add a search to a dashboard, you can either:

  1. Add an already saved search by selecting the search from the dropdown in the right-most column of any dashboard

...or

  1. Run a search using the keyword or ticker search at the top and select the content sources you would like to filter

  2. Click the blue Search button and then the black Save Search button

  3. Name your search and set up an alert frequency

  4. Select the dashboard you would like to save it to


How to add a Watchlist to a Dashboard

  1. Click the plus sign at the top of the left-hand panel.

  2. Select Watchlist Dashboard

  3. Add the companies you would like to monitor.


How to edit a search in a Dashboard

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the column you'd like to edit and then click Manage.

  2. From this view, you can either click edit search criteria to be brought to the main view where you can edit the keywords, companies or content sources or change the Dashboard your search is saved on.

  3. Then click Save.


How to remove a search from a Dashboard

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the column you'd like to edit and then click Manage.

  2. From this view, you switch the toggle to off to remove the search from the Dashboard.

  3. Then click Save.


How to rename or remove a Dashboard

To rename a Custom Dashboard:

  1. Select "Manage" in the upper right-hand corner of the custom Dashboard you'd like to rename

  2. Enter the new name and select "Save"

To remove a Dashboard:

  1. Select the dashboard you would like to edit in the left-hand panel and click "Manage" in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Click the Toggle button to hide the Dashboard from view or select delete to delete any saved searches or alerts related to that Dashboard.

    1. Industry and Company Dashboards can be shown/hid

    2. Watchlist Dashboards can be shown/hid, or they can be deleted by deleting the Watchlist itself

    3. Custom Dashboards are deleted
