What is Data Grid?

Users now have the capability to input structured quantitative and qualitative data directly into notes. The feature is comprised of custom fields and supports the input of dense table structures containing over 20 fields within a single note. Specific use cases include such as thesis writing and workflows that involve phases in reporting.

This data can be shared with other users as part of shared notes to allow for collaboration on data input. Also, Data Grid can be part of the Note Template to generate notes with Data Grid automatically.

Why is Data Grid useful?

  • Enhances visibility of structured data across teams with the ability to facilitate collaboration.

  • Minimize errors in user-inputted data by providing drop-down menu options, thereby offering users guidance and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Standardize processes through auto-population of fields themselves as part of note template so that users do not forget to add important information.
