Latest Releases

November 6th

  • Ask in Doc - We've extended Generative Search to documents! For documents less than 100 pages, you now have the ability "Ask in Doc", allow you to ask natural language questions and get instant answers! Support for larger documents will be coming soon.

  • Conversational History - All your past searches/questions are now accessible right from Generative Search. Select from the sidebar to review past responses and continue to dig deeper

  • Answer Reformatting - Answers are now formatted to provide concise summaries for specific queries at the top of the page, as well as extending inline citations to response summaries.

October 1st

  • Analyst Filters – Easily filter to broker research produced by a specific analyst by including their name in your query

  • Minor collaborative and feedback functionality updates

September 10th

  • Generative Search on Mobile! - AlphaSense's generative search is now available on the iOS mobile app!

    • This is exclusively for Generative Search and does not include Keyword Search Summaries.

    • Download the mobile app today!

  • Source Filters on UI – Now, you can view the source, broker, analyst and author filters applied by Generative Search directly in your summary

September 3rd

  • Dig Deeper – Drill deeper into a sub-theme found within a response with a single click!

    • Simply hover over any of the section headers in a response and click “Dig Deeper” to launch a new query that retrieves more granular information on that particular topic.

  • Context Maintenance – Ask follow-up questions using short-hand that refers to your previous questions

    • Generative Search will now retain memory of previous queries and continue the conversation with relevant context.

  • Direct Answers for Simple Queries – For simple questions, Generative Search shows the conclusion on top, which helps you find insights more quickly

  • Specific Broker Filters – Filter your query to a particular broker by using their name in the prompt (e.g., What is JPM saying about EV growth?).

  • Author Filters – Easily filter to internal content by a specific author by including their full name (first and last) in your natural-language prompt

    • (i.e. "What is [COLLEAGUE'S NAME] saying about EV outlook in our internal content?")

      • This is specific to Enterprise Intelligence users

  • Clear Chat – Return to the Generative Search home screen in a single click by selecting “Clear Chat” in upper right hand corner. This will create a new session with Generative Search.
