What is Screener?
Screener enables you to identify and target a specific set of companies that meet your desired criteria.
How to access Screener ?
Screener can be accessed by clicking the overlapping circle icon on the vertical toolbar on the left side of the screen.
Once in Screener, you can choose comparable equities. You can manage your fields to focus on your key focus areas and then filter each field to properly screen and filter for companies matching your criteria.
Equity and Funding Round Screeners are currently in beta. M&A and Company Screeners are expected to release to beta soon.
Managing Fields
Click the manage fields icon to manage the fields populating within the screener tab. On the left-hand side, you will see overarching categories that get more specific on the right-hand side. If you have questions about what any of the fields mean, hover over the ⓘ icon for a definition. Then click "add next to your desired fields and save them for future use.
How to Leverage the Equity Screener to find the perfect acquisition target
Screener has two different options you can leverage to find the perfect acquisition target: Funding, and Equity. We will cover how to leverage each tab, and it should be noted that located in the right hand side under “View Active Filters.”
Equity
Identify lists of public companies and stock tickers matching defined metrics including industry, country, revenue, market capitalization, last close price, among many other metrics
After selecting the fields that you would like to add from “Manage Fields”, you can customize the filters from the column header. The Equity tab can then be leveraged to see what what public companies match your desired criteria.
Funding
A funding round is anytime money is raised from one or more investors for a business in exchange for equity or partial ownership.
Funding rounds like Series A, B, C, D, etc generally follow “seed funding” and “angel investing”. Funding raised at each round depends on the risk profile of the company as well as their maturity and company health metrics.
Enables you to look across private companies and startups for funding stages, types, announcement dates, and other metrics across countries and industries.
