About the Canalyst Modeling Tools Excel Add-In
The Modeling Tools Add-in provides you with a suite of tools that unlock workflow efficiencies with Canalyst Models. Some of the key workflows you can unlock by installing this Excel add-in are:
- Update Models you've customized with a single click
- Download models directly in Excel
- Audit the location in the filing that a datapoint was sourced from

What to Know Before Installing
Please be aware of the following exceptions before installing the Modeling Tools Excel Add-in.
- It is only compatible with Windows computers. Mac and other operating systems are not supported.
- You may require support from your IT Team to install the add-in. Should you or your IT Team require assistance please reach out to support@tegus.com with a member of your IT Team copied.
Installation Instructions
- Close all open Excel windows
- Download the installation wizard file from the client portal
- Open the file you downloaded and follow the installation wizard
- Open Excel and the Canalyst tab will appear in your ribbon
- Log in with the same credentials that you use for the Tegus or AlphaSense client portal
