What are AI-led Interviews?
AI-led interviews are conversations conducted by AlphaSense’s proprietary AI Interviewer, a trained conversational agent that autonomously runs live 1:1 interviews with human experts. These interviews follow a structured guide but adapt dynamically—probing deeper when needed, ensuring consistency, and surfacing unbiased insights at scale.
This capability expands the Expert Transcript Library (ETL) by pairing investor-led content with a new stream of AI-led Voice of Customer (VoC)* and Channel Check interviews.
*Eligibility note: Channel Checks are currently limited to a specific group of users, whereas Voice of Customer is available more broadly.
How Does it Work?
Step 1 – Expert Selection: Experts are sourced through AlphaSense’s global expert network, pre-vetted for relevance and compliance.
Step 2 – AI-led Interview: Our AI conducts the live conversation by phone
Step 3 – Review & Transcription: Every call is recorded, transcribed, and reviewed for compliance before being published into the ETL.
Step 4 – Research Integration: Once published, transcripts are discoverable through our content library, DeepResearch, Generative Grid, and company profiles
What Content is Included?
At launch, AI-led interviews cover:
- Channel Checks: Ground-level supply and demand insights from distributors, suppliers, and retailers. Coverage spans 20+ subsectors in TMT, Energy & Industrials, and Healthcare.
- Voice of Customer (VoC): Direct feedback from current and churned customers of B2B tech products. Focus on buying behavior, implementation, satisfaction, churn risks, and product stickiness.
What Compliance Safeguards are in Place?
AlphaSense maintains one of the industry’s most rigorous compliance programs. For AI-led interviews:
- Pre-call vetting: Experts sign strict agreements prohibiting the disclosure of material non-public information (MNPI).
- Live monitoring: The AI Interviewer is tuned to avoid risky or inappropriate topics.
- Post-call review: A dedicated compliance team reviews every transcript, removing or redacting flagged content before publication.

No embargo periods: Because AI-led interviews are initiated and owned by AlphaSense, they are not subject to customer embargoes. This means insights are made available to all eligible users as soon as compliance review is complete.
