With AlphaSense, you can upload your documents and make them searchable in a variety of ways:

  • Email-In

  • Upload documents and folders

  • Syncing files and folders

  • Syncing your note-taking apps (Evernote, Sharepoint, OneNote, etc.)

Now you can use sentiment to identify inflection points on these documents and leverage sentiment analysis to drive deeper research by searching topics (any keyword, company or watchlist) in a positive or negative context.

For topics

To identify negative or positive statements in your personal content:

  1. Add ‘positive’ and/or ‘negative’ to the end of any keyword search. This will isolate any positive or negative tonality in your results.

  2. Select the Integrations & Notes filter to isolate the search results to only your uploaded content.

For companies

To uncover any positive or any negative commentary a company makes related to any topic:

  1. Add ‘positive’ and/or ‘negative’ to your search on any company. Do not add any other keyword.

  2. Select the Integrations & Notes filter to isolate the search results to only your uploaded content.
