Expanded news and trade publications

In January alone, our content team added 200 new sources to our news and trade publication offering in the AlphaSense library. This content includes 118 sources in non-English languages, such as Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and more. Learn how to search in non-English languages.

These additions include frequently requested sources like, The China Post, Newsweek Japan, Die Welt, Handelsblatt, CnEVPost, Le Monde (abstracts), Le Figaro (abstracts), Huffpost (abstracts), The Hill (abstracts), Sydney Morning Herald (abstracts), and more.

To focus your search on these new sources: 1) click into More Sources, 2) Choose the type of content you want to search on, and 3) use the regional drop-downs or search bar to pick out specific content sources.

Increased private company data

You can now find information on over 1.4 million private companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations in AlphaSense. Each entity has its own profile page, including data around revenue, employee counts (where available), and more. Learn more about searching for companies.

Monitoring updates

There are two enhancements to the monitoring tools in AlphaSense:

  1. Ability to choose how alerts look - you can now decide between a card (i.e. greater detail) and table (i.e. compact) view for each alert. Learn more about editing alerts.

  2. Add searches to a dashboard directly within the dashboard - easily add saved searches to a dashboard using an intuitive drop-down menu (see '1' below).
