Generate and export summaries and analytics from AlphaSense
Generate Summary PDF
Export a single PDF that summarizes the search you ran. The PDF includes:
- The keywords, tickers, timeframe, and sources used in your search
- Every mention of your keywords found in the results
- A link to the search itself, plus a link to each individual document included in the results
To generate a Summary PDF:
- Open Document Search and run a search.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Download Summary PDF.
A Summary PDF can include up to 250 results. If your search returns more than 250 documents, you have two options: Click Cancel, apply additional filters, and re-run your search to narrow the results below 250, or Click Export PDF Summary to generate a PDF covering the first 250 documents only.
Export Search Analytics
For searches returning up to 10,000 documents, you can export the underlying analysis as an Excel file. Choose to include document analytics, trend analytics, or both. Once the export is ready, AlphaSense will email it to you.
To export Search Analytics:
- Open Document Search and run a search.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Export Search Analytics.
- Select Documents or Trend Chart Data (or both).
- Click Email Export.
Add/Remove Companies or Tags on Selected Docs
Hold Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) on your keyboard, or select/highlight individual documents in your Results list. Once selected, you can add or remove Companies and/or Tags on those documents from the Generative Search pane.
You'll have the ability to:
- Add/Remove Companies — Companies can only be added to documents you've uploaded or content you've created in AlphaSense (ex: Notes)
- Add/Remove Tags — Personal or team tags can be added to any document, giving you the ability to filter for various tags when running searches
