Why are Live Event Transcripts Beneficial?
Live event transcripts provide a written record of conversations from calls and meetings. They improve access to information, help users follow along in real time, and make it easier to find and reuse content later.
How to Access Live Event Transcripts
Live Events and their associated transcripts are only available through the Live Events Calendar and the Live Transcripts widget within a user’s dashboard.
Step 1: Add the Live Events Widget to a Dashboard
Live Events can be added as a widget to individual Dashboards. To add Live Events to a Dashboard:
- Open a Dashboard
- Select Add Widget in the upper right hand corner
- Scroll and select Live Events
- Click Add 1 Widget
The system adds the Live Events widget to your dashboard and pulls in past, current, and upcoming calls for all companies on that dashboard.
Step 2: Join a Live Event
- To join a call in progress and read the live transcription, select it from the Live Events widget.
While in a Live Event, you can control audio playback—play, rewind, or fast-forward (see 1). To jump to a specific part of the audio, select any portion of the transcription (see 2).
To return to the live audio, select Go Live in the bottom left corner. You can also adjust the playback speed to listen faster (see 3).
Step 3: Use the Full Calendar to View Past, Current, and Upcoming calls
- To view all calls, select the Live Events header to open the full calendar view (see 1). You can also filter calls by type from the Dashboard (see 2).
- Within the calendar view, you have a single view into all past, current, and live events. Filter for your companies, watchlists, or event types of interest (1).
- Using the timeframe filters, adjust your calendar view and select specific call times (2). Select any "Finished" event to view the transcript from that call.
